1 lb butter or margarine2 1/4 Cups sugar4 eggs1 lb blanced grated almondsgrated rind of one lemon4 Cups flour, sifted2 egg whites1/4 Cup sugar1 Cup chopped blanced almonds
Cream the butter or margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time and beat until smooth. Stir in the grated nuts, lemon rind and flour. Chill. Roll out to a thickness of 1/8 inch. Cut with crescent-shaped cutter. Brush top with a mix
