Almond Crescents


Ingredients

1 lb butter or margarine

2 1/4 Cups sugar

4 eggs

1 lb blanced grated almonds

grated rind of one lemon

4 Cups flour, sifted

2 egg whites

1/4 Cup sugar

1 Cup chopped blanced almonds

Instructions

Cream the butter or margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time and beat until smooth. Stir in the grated nuts, lemon rind and flour. Chill. Roll out to a thickness of 1/8 inch. Cut with crescent-shaped cutter. Brush top with a mix
